The fall and winter is cold and flu season. The CDC recommends the seasonal flu shot and the H1N1 strain flu shot as the best way to prevent getting the flu. The seasonal flu shot and the H1N1 shots are separate, so people will need to get both to get the best chance of not getting sick. The swine flu shot is not as readily available as the seasonal flu shot yet, and it is being recommended that populations at risk receive the H1N1 vaccine before the general public.
Many stores and businesses offer flu shot clinics where people can walk in and, for a low price, get a flu shot or swine flu shot. The times are often on the weekends or in the evenings, so that people working full-time can still get a shot. Some companies even offer flu shot to their employees.
